Stanton Wind Project

The Stanton Wind Project went into commercial operation in 2008. It is located about 16 miles east of Midland in Martin County, Texas. The project contains 80 General Electric wind turbines rated at 1.5 MW each for a total size of 120 MW. The estimated annual energy capability is 440 million kW hours. Stanton Wind Project was originally developed by Wind Tex Energy and subsequently sold to Invenergy LLC.
